    Needed to manually create /etc/sysctl.conf and reboot in order to start DB2. Contents that finally worked:

    kern.sysv.shmmax=1073741824
    kern.sysv.shmmin=1
    kern.sysv.shmmni=512
    kern.sysv.shmseg=128
    kern.sysv.shmall=268435456

    So far, so good.

    Amazing news!

    Particularly for me, if db2 support on mac had been launched 2 months ago, my decisions when buying a new laptop for work would be completely different, but we can’t have everything lol.

    congratulations
